GREEN POLICY

For years MARFIL has been implementing an improvement policy both from a qualitative and environmental point of view.

 

In 2010 Marfil built a photovoltaic plant of 129.40kwh increased by another 41.40kwh the following year.
This important investment leads to a saving of CO2 emissions into the enviroment of more than 110 tons per year.

 

It also obtained the GRS certification in 2020

The GLOBAL RECYCLE STANDAD (GRS) is promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important non-profit organizations promoting responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector at an international level. With this standard, Textile Exchange recognizes the fundamental importance of recycling for the growth of a sustainable production and consumption model; aims to favor the reduction of the consumption of resources ( virgin raw materials, water and energy) and to increase the quality of recycled products.
